'Citizens are free to follow our religion' - Enigma Babylon, a mystery?

The problems with religious monopoly and stable thought. Gods in a box? Can one organization encompass all the gods? Druid universal ceremonial suzerainty - over a state funded collection of cults, as Imperial Rome, could bring stability and avoid excesses. And  One size fits all for Mr Cameron's new society?

Citizens are now free to follow our religion is not the same thing.
Nor does the UK stop the illegal genital mutilations of children and babies or un-stuned ritual slaughter; rites of the depraved and the cruel. Ie the frigid. A perverse state intervention then.

Without being alarmist I wish to illustrate a few things over the errors of religious/state monopolies.
Atmospheric intro:

.. 'we have freedom of religion' as a slogan does not cut it;
.North Korea has religious freedom guaranteed by constitution too;

North Korea Children Learn About Religious Freedom And Buddhism - Victory Over America News

'... contrary to popular belief, citizens in North Korea enjoy full freedom to practice their religious beliefs, as guaranteed by ARTICLE 68 of the CONSTITUTION OF THE DEMOCRATIC PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF KOREA, which states that:

Citizens have freedom of religious beliefs. This right is granted by approving the construction of religious buildings and the holding of religious ceremonies.
Documentary begins with scenes of how developed and peaceful North Korea is, and then shows people celebrating the 3 major religions; Buddhism, Chondoism and Christianity. '

.
I won't accuse UK PM Cameron, Milliband or that other one of Marxist Leninism for believing in and implementing State control of Religion contrary to it's doctrines. After all it is not a new idea.

The future is interesting, to say the least. It will not conform to the expectations of certains cults, but somethings don't change with paper laws grunted over by barbarians.
Let he who has an eye to see, an ear to hear, then see and hear.
